Assessing and evaluating the performance of the staff is one of the main responsibilities of the management of the human resources. This organization evaluates the performance of the staff regularly and officially based on some predetermined objectives of the organization so that to identify the weak and strong points of the staff through scientific and appropriate means to pave the ground for the growth of human resources and organization. The main purpose of this evaluation is identifying the educational needs of the staff and means for their career development, understanding their dissatisfaction, determining standards for identifying their important services, changing their position, granting advantages, giving services, and finally increasing the effectiveness of the organization. Regarding the importance of respecting the Islamic values in the administrative system and the great importance of evaluating the performance of the staff in the Islamic organizations, in this article, it has been endeavored that the basic principles of assessing the performance of the individuals be observed. These principles are: respecting the reputation of the individuals, being fair, just, pious and optimistic, being accurate and exact, not to look into the affairs of others, and finally gaining necessary information from Koranic documentations and traditions from religious leaders.
